Turn any cooking video into a recipe you can actually cook from.
Paste an Instagram, TikTok or YouTube link. Rovelle writes out the steps, flags what the video got wrong, reads it aloud while you cook — and remembers the marinade you started last night.
Email only. No card. Free for 20 imports a month when it opens.
Watch the link get read — transcript, caption, quantities, temperatures.
Saved TikTok and Instagram recipes
Saving is easy. Cooking from a save is not.
Dinner arrives and you're scrubbing a 45-second clip with wet thumbs, squinting at a blurred caption, missing the one temperature that matters. Then the post is gone.
"Was that 220 or 200?"
"Ninety-five. Resist stirring."
How it works: from video link to recipe
Three quiet steps.
No folders to set up first. Paste, check, cook — the cookbook assembles itself around what you actually make.
Paste the video
A Reel, Short, TikTok or a full cook-along. Share straight from the app; the caption comes along.
Check the flags
Ingredients with quantities, timed steps, storage. Anything doubtful is flagged and suggested — you accept or edit.
Cook through it
Full-screen steps, per-step timers, ingredient drawer, and Pan on voice for swaps and rescues.
Hands-free Cook Mode
Not a recipe page. A cooking instrument.
Built for the moment your hands are wet, oily or floury. One step on screen. One timer. One giant tap — or just say it over the exhaust fan.
Multi-day recipes · Coming soon
Two-day recipes, without losing your place.
Overnight marinades. Twelve-hour batters. Dough that proofs twice. Rovelle splits the recipe into sessions, runs the wait on our side, and taps you when it's ready — even if your phone was off all night.

Recipe cookbook with versions
Your version, with the margin notes kept.
Every swap you make mid-cook becomes a version. The original stays. Your mum's note stays. Pick which one to cook tonight; compare them side by side when you're curious.

"Paprika + cayenne works. Slightly less smoky — nobody noticed."
Weekly meal planner · Coming soon
Drop recipes on days. The list writes itself.
Plan the week from your own cookbook. Pantry staples stay off the list; everything else groups by aisle. Change Thursday and the list quietly re-syncs.
Kitchen memory · Coming soon
It remembers what you've already made.
Last night's marinade. Sunday's masala base. Four boiled potatoes. Rovelle keeps a quiet list — no photos, no barcodes — and on a lazy day Pan builds dinner from it, skipping the steps you've already done.
Items arrive on their own when a wait ends or a cook finishes with extra. Or you say it in one sentence. Freshness is guidance, not a verdict.
Pan only suggests recipes already in your cookbook and never rewrites them — the skipped steps are a tonight-only plan. Green means you have it; + means you'll need it.
Pan, your hands-free sous-chef
A sous-chef who has already cooked it.
Pan is the voice in Cook Mode. Calm, brief, never chirpy. Pan flags the 240°C confit, suggests paprika when the Kashmiri chilli is gone, and shuts up when you're concentrating.
Credit for creators · Coming soon
Your recipe, credited every time it's cooked.
Claim your handle and every import from your videos carries your name and a link back — through every fork, swap and shared copy. You see the audit trail; you can fix the parse.

Frequently asked questions
What Rovelle is, plainly.
Rovelle is a cooking app that turns a cooking video into a written, structured recipe. You paste a link from Instagram, TikTok or YouTube; Rovelle reads the transcript and caption, writes out the ingredients and steps, flags anything that looks wrong, and saves it to a cookbook you own — then reads it back to you hands-free while you cook.
How do I turn an Instagram reel or TikTok into a recipe?
Copy the video link and paste it into Rovelle. Parsing takes a few seconds. You get a draft recipe with anything uncertain marked, so you confirm it before it saves.
What happens when the video gets something wrong?
Rovelle checks temperatures, times and quantities against how the dish is normally cooked and flags what looks off — a confit called at 240°C, say. You accept or reject each flag. Nothing changes silently.
How is Cook Mode different from a recipe page?
One step at a time in large type, one timer, and a voice called Pan. Ask a question or move between steps by voice — you never touch the screen with wet or oily hands.
Do creators get credit when their video is imported?
Yes. Every import carries the creator's handle and a link back to the original, and that credit travels with every fork and shared copy. Creators will be able to claim their handle and correct a parse.
Can I edit a recipe after saving it?
Yes. Any swap becomes a new version and the original import is kept, so you can compare or go back at any time.
What about recipes that take two days?
Coming soon. Rovelle detects waits — marinate, soak, ferment, proof, rest — and splits the recipe into sessions. Start the wait and a timer runs on our servers, so you get a nudge when it's ready even if your phone was off. Elastic waits show a window, not a false alarm, and skipping is always allowed.
What is Kitchen Memory?
Coming soon. When a wait ends or a cook finishes with extra, Rovelle quietly notes it — marinated chicken, masala base, boiled potatoes. Ask Pan "I'm lazy today" and it suggests recipes from your own cookbook that reuse those parts, showing the shortened time. It never invents a dish and never edits your recipe.
How much does Rovelle cost?
Free for 20 video imports a month when it opens. Joining the waitlist is free and needs only an email — no card.
